Julia Jaye Posin is an award-winning sustainability professional and social impact producer. Recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives for her leadership in public service, she co-founded a publisher brand, served as Neighborhood Council Member and Environmental Chair, and was Campaign Manager for a progressive U.S. Senate candidate. She most recently co-led Artists for Amazonia, which harnessed the power of entertainment leaders to advocate for the permanent protection of the Amazon Rainforest.

Kyrstin is a highly regarded expert in community outreach and engagement plans that empower people to make a difference. For over a decade, Kyrstin has directed programs for some of the most high-profile and successful advocacy campaigns in the state of Minnesota and across the Midwest. She served as the Midwest Director for Pete Buttigieg’s Presidential campaign, as the DFL’s Coordinated Campaign Political Director, and worked on the Vote No campaign to defeat the MN Marriage Amendment, to name a few career highlights.

Julia Walsh is a community organizer and political strategist with twenty years on progressive campaigns. As co-founder and director of We Stand United, she unites popular culture with grassroots organizing for social change. In 2010, she started Frack Action, which played a pivotal role in New York State’s 2015 fracking ban and helped ban fracking in Ireland and Maryland. Julia served on New Paltz’s Village Board and as NGO Representative to the United Nations advocating on behalf of children’s, indigenous, and environmental rights.

Chris Ochoa, City Council member in Hesperia, CA, a father, and Executive Director of Desert Democracy Project, has worked on the frontlines of the COVID pandemic—in correctional facilities, on high desert streets, and in treatment clinics. His commitment to public health and justice was sparked by uncovering unconstitutional ordinances that targeted Latino and African Americans. Determined to improve neglected infrastructure, social services, and healthcare, Chris champions investments in community, healing, restoration, innovation, and solutions.

Joe Worthy

Joe Worthy is a community organizer by trade, having led projects that ended Boston’s Zero Tolerance Policies and overhauled Cleveland’s Citizen’s Review Board following the police homicide of Tamir Rice and Tanisha Anderson. Previously, he served as National Organizer for the Children’s Defense Fund, fighting to end the Cradle to Prison Pipeline. Joe holds a B.A. from Heidelberg University (Magdalen College, Oxford) and was a Community Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
